As Pittiefest nears its end, our hearts are with the seniors in our shelter who are so deserving of spending their final days, weeks, months or years in a home.

These precious pups, like Smoke, have creaky joints and old bones. They have trouble walking, and sleep hard, but they also have spunk and life left.

Smoke especially is breaking our hearts. He’s 13 and may never have known what a comfy bed, with someone who loves him, feels like.

We still have time to give it to him.
