@JesseGladsaget I’ll believe it when I see it. This isn’t a knock either. He deserves all his bread, but would be massive if he did this. Now if his and Fox’s deals are remotely close, and Fox underperforms those side eyes might go crazy

@JesseGladsaget @Carnage45__ Maybe its easy for me to say but I would have done a 1 year somewhere and back into the market next year. Why get locked in at 2 years and go back into FA at 30 when I can probably put up numbers and get a bag next season. Market clearly didnt develop for him

@CollinReidPS 2. I have heard Rui may not be that bad a defender (havent seen myself tbf) and he is 28 vs 33. Shoots well in the playoffs as well. I dont dismiss it

@CollinReidPS I feel so nihilistic about this offseason mostly cause of others. I just don’t think they can come back without a 6’8 body in that lineup (not Tobias Harris)

@JesseGladsaget I disagree w/you on it but trust me I am no LeBron fan, i’d still take him at MLE. I’m hungry man. I need this front office to do SOMETHING. We cannot go into this season without some sort of size at that 3/4 spot. Im a no on Tobias

@enthuatist @HOFS0T0 This contract has me shaking, and the fact we dont wanna hand out more than 2 years (allegedly), but not a lot of teams have $ and why would a team be incentivized to hand way more than $15 if most bidders I assume are MLE?

@CollinReidPS I don’t think this is good for us. Tobias is a no for me. I want Rui but man two years might be the dealbreaker. Idk why they care. Ship fox off next offseason and money isn’t an issue I imagine?

@ZachNBA_ @poundingtherock Like to me if the Spurs are gung ho on holding to this i’d offer Rui and collins a 1+1. Play for a title contender. Let your stock rise and try to get that bag next offseason at 29 (think both would be). Hopefully there is more $ for them.
