Buying a second-hand Japanese import vehicle from a local car sale is a very high-risk gamble right now. Many buyers are unaware that the "clean" car they see on the lot might have serious tax issues behind the scenes.

Unscrupulous dealers are selling imported cars at full market price despite having paid little to no customs duty at the border. They often do this by under-declaring the car's purchase price or using illegal duty rebates meant for returning residents.

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) has intensified inland checkpoints and targeted audits directly at car sales.

Before exchanging hard-earned cash, always demand the vehicle's official ZIMRA Customs Clearance Certificate (CCC) and the original Bill of Entry. You can physically take these to any ZIMRA office to verify that the duty paid matches the actual vehicle description and value.

PLEASE SHARE๐๐พ | Hello Crime Watch Zimbabwe, please kindly help us share this message. My 13-year-old daughter, Victoria Gwiza, has been missing for more than three months. She was last seen on 14 February 2026 at Stopover, Epworth. She had gone to have her hair done at Rueben Shopping Centre in Epworth, but no one knows what happened after she left the salon.
We have tried everything we can to find her, including putting up posters, using radio and TV platforms, and reporting the matter to the police, but we still have no leads. We are deeply worried about her safety and are appealing to anyone who may have information to come forward. She may still be somewhere in Epworth or Harare.
Please Zimbabwe, help us bring Victoria home safely. Any information or assistance will be greatly appreciated.
I am Orbert Gwiza, Victoriaโs father.

Thank you to everyone helping us search for Victoria. May God bless you all. ๐ค

I'm noticing another wave of flu, which is not so surprising considering it's winter, only that the flu of late feels like Covid and Flu had an affair and gave us this current flu, more painful, lasts longer. Anyway,
1. Stay Hydrated
Keeping hydrated is crucial when fighting the flu or a cold. Water loosen congestion and prevent dehydration. Avoid alcohol, coffee, and caffeinated drinks - can make dehydration worse.
2. Honey and Lemon
Honey is a natural cough treatment. In fact,ย studies have foundย that honey is equally as effective compared to a common cough suppressant ingredient also provides soothing relief for a sore throat. Lemon adds a boost of vitamin C and can lighten the intensity of a cold. Mix two teaspoons of honey with the juice of half a lemon in a cup of warm water.
3) Zumbani tea
Has anti-inflammatory and anti fever properties. May work as pain killer. It has been used to treat coughs and colds and other breathing system problems for decades in Southern Africa. The word Zumbani is shona- Zimbabwe. I believe this can bring out a wonder drug if its to be studied well.
4. Ginger
Ginger is reputed to help with congestion and reduce inflammation. You can make ginger tea by slicing ginger into a cup of boiling water and letting it steep for several minutes before drinking. Add a little honey or lemon to enhance the taste and the soothing effect.
5. Garlic
Garlic contains allicin, a compound that been shown to boost the disease-fighting response of the body to viruses like flu. Adding a garlic supplement to your diet or including more garlic in your meals can potentially ease cold symptoms. For a powerful tonic, try mincing fresh garlic and steeping it in hot water, then straining it and drinking the liquid as tea.
6. Steam Inhalation/Kufukira
Inhaling steam can help soothe the lining of the nasal passages, relieve nasal congestion, and calm a cough. Cover your head with a towel and lean over a bowl of hot water, breathing deeply through your nose for 5 to 10 minutes. Adding a fewย drops of eucalyptus oil/leaves ย can also help clear your airways.
7. Saltwater Gargle
Gargling with salt water can reduce throat swelling, cleanse the throat, and loosen mucus. Dissolve a teaspoon of salt in a full glass of warm water and gargle it to help relieve throat pain.
8. Rest
Your body needs to heal, and that requires rest. Make sure to give your body enough sleep and relaxation, which can significantly help the immune system fight off viruses.
