this is going to be a constant work-in-progress, but i now have a proper site with a more organised portfolio showcase, a detailed introduction to myself, and links to all my socials and cv. ✨

they should make a version of socializing that doesn’t make you feel like you’re still the weird 9 year old kid that doesn’t know why she’s not normal like the other kids
No, using an em dash a lot isn’t a sign of AI because the em dash is not punctuation, it’s a vibe. It’s a feeling. You don’t use it because it makes grammatical sense — you use it because your heart tells you to. AI couldn’t possibly do it well because it lacks one.
One thing I got really into during 6 months of hospital stays is Makeup TikTok. A big thing amongst professionals and consumers is CEOs and execs actually using their products.
So… Why shouldn’t that happen for gaming?
EA's CEO, in the wake of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, has said gamers "increasingly seek shared-world features and deeper engagement alongside high-quality narratives." https://t.co/dBo04aEftD
*laid off
I wrote more but then deleted it because I’m not about to ruin a long weekend. Something something $30 billion corporation operating for decades unable to provide the necessary economic foundation from which to support a big RPG. But again, I deleted it.
Here’s an example of DEI that never gets thought of: when Destiny 2 brought back Sloan, Bungie consulted with us at veteran vanguard to ensure that her storyline, which includes PTSD due to why she was “gone”, was accurate and respectful of real world veterans. That’s it, took five minutes of review and done. Easy peasy. The lens of vital initiatives like this has been so distorted because the people talking the loudest about it don’t actually know what it is, they know what they’ve heard and they know what they fear it to be. But no actual knowing. Is that to say it’s perfect? Absolutely not - but show me something that is. Just like anything, it shouldn’t be unchecked, but it is needed and for so many reason people don’t even want to consider because it goes against the narrative they’ve created.
And that’s that on that. Back to shit posts and existential crisis 👍

it’s 2024 and people still think they’re being really cutting and original when they dunk on taylor swift for dancing like a beautiful three legged giraffe. she knows. swifties know. we all know. yet the show goes on nonetheless.
i love how a vampire bite can be everything at once. it's food, sex, violence, a rebirth, a parasite, a eucharist, a memory of the infant latching a teet, an allusion to eve biting the apple. metaphor of all time!
Cyberpunk 2077 had one of the most notorious launches in video games. But four years on, after Phantom Liberty and many, many updates, that nightmare feels like the distant past. This is the story of what went wrong, and how the studio turned it around: https://t.co/0pzTGNMs3I
This is odd timing, considering I’m in the middle of writing a speech that touches on the lack of accessible game engines out there. Share this around so we can give this developer the feedback they need!
