A protest started in Kobani, becuase of unfair appliance of laws, wehre GoS applies to Kurds but not Arab circling the Kurdish areas in Syria.
The protest was against an Arab tribe who beheaded a Kurd, requesting the criminals to be handed over to justice.

Hawar News: Eight inmates lost their lives and 17 others were injured—some critically—in a fire that broke out inside a prison in the city of Kobani.

The cause of the fire remains unclear as relevant authorities continue to investigate the incident; the Internal Security Forces in Kobani are expected to issue a statement clarifying the details.

Violent clashes continue between our forces and Damascus-affiliated factions, which have once again violated the ceasefire agreement and launched a ground and artillery attack on the town of Khirab Ashk, southeast of Kobani, accompanied by aerial support from Turkish reconnaissance aircraft. The clashes have been ongoing for more than three hours.

I completely endorse and support Senator Risch’s call for calm in Syria, putting the new Syrian government on notice that human rights abuses against minorities will not be tolerated. Most disturbing of all is that I’m getting what I believe to be credible reports that Syrian army forces and Turkey may be advancing further against our Kurdish allies - a move that I believe would invoke a strong reaction from the United States. 

While I support giving this new Syrian government a chance, I will not tolerate or accept a brazen attack against our Kurdish allies, who are the main force in destroying the ISIS caliphate and have been strongly aligned with Israel throughout the years. 

To the Syrian government and Turkey: choose wisely.
