Slow down the pace of AI or we'll be in trouble. "kramer vs kramer" will happen if we can't learn to manage the AI. AI vs AI and the victim will be human.
๐ Last day at #UKCCSRC2023 with valuable insights from Chris Holdsworth from University of Edinburgh and Carbfix on Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (#MRV) of CO2 storage in Iceland. MRV of CO2 storage is the key to achieving our sustainability goals. Thanks to @UKCCSRC
Excited to kick off #UKCCSRC2023! Day one brings valuable insights into carbon capture. Prof. Mathieu Lucquiaud explores the atmosphere's carbon budget, and Prof. David Reiner delves into CCS public perception. Knowledge exchange in action!
Day one of #UKCCSRC2023 kicks off with a deep dive into carbon capture training.
Prof. Mathieu Lucquiaud and Prof. David Reiner are setting the stage for a knowledge-packed event! @UKCCSRC#CarbonCapture#ClimateAction
Finally, Lee Mills discussed the work done by Natural Resources Wales. Especially interesting to hear about the work they have done on developing #BRef regulatory framework for CCS. More work in #CCS needs to focus on how CCS relates to the circular economy.

Next up was Abby Samson discussing #DACCS for dispersed industries. Great to hear how DACCS can be employed in these dispersed sites due to its location flexibility as well as tackling emissions from smaller sources of #CO2. The reduced cost by 2050 highlights.

Just heading into #CARDIFF for the #ukccsrc conference and I'm thrilled to be surrounded by so many experts dedicated to finding solutions for a sustainable future. Excited to learn and share ideas! #ECR
Day1 @UKCCSRC#collaboration: initial #research introductions of people within @PTClough's research group. We met Monica, Tosin, Siqi Wang & Ziqi Shen. We were lucky to be in their weekly meeting. There are a few options for further collaboration! But they're secret ๐

Thanks to the support of @UKCCSRC and their #ECR#Collaboration Fund, tomorrow we are leaving for an exciting visit to @CranfieldUni. I am very much looking forward to starting a robust collaboration with Dr @PTClough's team at Cranfield University.
@daviesbill119 are you ready?
