ISIS groups allied with the Damascus government subjected one of our fighters to severe torture after capturing him in the village of Al-Harijiya, north of Deir ez-Zor, and then carried out his execution. These brutal scenes are presented to the public and the media so the world can see and understand the true nature of these groups and the crimes they commit.

It should be noted that these terrorists themselves published the video of this crime on their own social media pages.

During Al Jazeera’s coverage of the attack carried out by Damascus-affiliated factions against areas of North and East Syria, the ISIS emblem was seen on the shoulder of one of the gunmen participating in the attack, raising serious questions about the nature and background of these factions.

إن نشر الدبابات والمدفعية في أحياء مدينة حلب، وقصف المدنيين العزّل وتهجيرهم، ومحاولات اقتحام الأحياء الكردية أثناء عملية التفاوض، يقوّض فرص الوصول إلى تفاهمات، ويهيّئ الظروف لتغييرات ديمغرافية خطيرة، كما يعرّض المدنيين العالقين في الحيَّين لخطر المجازر.

Our forces thwart an attack by factions affiliated with the Damascus government in eastern Raqqa and affirm readiness to respond

In a new assault that reflects the chaos and recklessness adopted by factions affiliated with the Damascus government, our forces today came under a treacherous attack on the Ghanem al-Ali axis in the eastern countryside of Raqqa. These factions used unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and heavy weapons, without any regard for the safety of civilians or the stability of the region.

Our forces successfully foiled this senseless attack with full responsibility and capability. The clashes resulted in three of our fighters being injured, in addition to confirmed casualties among the attacking factions. This reckless behavior underscores the determination of those groups to drag the region toward further tension and to undermine all efforts aimed at preserving stability.

The response of our forces was proportionate to the nature of the attack, with a full commitment to restraint and to preventing any expansion of the clashes. Nevertheless, we clearly affirm that we will not stand idly by in the face of repeated attacks and provocations, and we will take the necessary measures to protect our areas, our forces, and our people from any threat.

We call on the parties sponsoring these factions to rein them in and put an end to their irresponsible practices, as they pose a direct threat to security and stability throughout the region.

Furthermore, in a blatant display of media manipulation, the cameras of pro-government Syria TV accidentally captured what they were not supposed to reveal during the live broadcast: a background voice that destroyed the facade and revealed the truth—that what viewers were watching was nothing but a pre-arranged representation.

While the reporter and the on-air guests promoted the official narrative, claiming that “the Syrian Democratic Forces are provoking the army and security forces,” a clear voice was heard saying:

“Hello, Sheikh, we are here in the area. If anyone asks about the situation, we will tell them that the Syrian Democratic Forces are provoking the army and security forces.”

This sentence was enough to debunk the regime’s entire narrative, proving that the so-called field report was in fact a coordinated act of disinformation between state media and security agencies—a carefully orchestrated scene to serve the regime’s agenda.

To make matters worse, pro-government media quickly repeated the same lie verbatim, launching a massive propaganda campaign aimed at distorting the truth and manipulating public opinion.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, General Mazloum Abdi @MazloumAbdi , received this morning U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye and Special Envoy to Syria Tom Barrack @USAMBTurkiye , along with @CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper, leading a U.S. delegation from the International Coalition.

Talks focused on practical steps to accelerate the implementation of the March 10 Agreement signed between Syrian transitional President Ahmad al-Shar’a and General Mazloum Abdi .

And facilitating the lifting of sanctions on Syria, creating a safe environment for investment and development, and facilitating the return of displaced people.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued partnership between the International Coalition and the SDF in combating ISIS and strengthening regional stability and security, in a way that preserves Syria’s territorial integrity.

Update | Large-Scale Kidnapping Campaign by Turkish-Backed Mercenaries in Shahba'a

Turkish-backed mercenaries have launched a large-scale kidnapping and enslavement campaign against civilians besieged in the Shahba’a region, north of Aleppo. Over 120 vehicles carrying hundreds of civilians, who were attempting to evacuate to areas in north and eastern Syria, were abducted and taken to an unknown destination near the Sheikh Najjar area. This action comes two days after these groups obstructed a previously agreed-upon civilian evacuation.
Furthermore, with the aim of enslavement, these groups have detained over fifteen thousand civilians and abducted a large number of them. The besieged civilians are enduring harsh conditions, facing starvation and water shortages.
