Polymarket US Gains Momentum

The US version of Polymarket has been live for just a few months and is already capturing market share from Kalshi.

What’s new?
• The app has climbed into the App Store’s top 3. During the first week of the NFL season, it saw 762,000 downloads—accounting for a quarter of all downloads in the category;
• The gap with Kalshi is narrowing. Kalshi’s market share dropped from 86% to 82% over the week, though it still leads significantly in terms of volume;
• The team is working on merging the order books for the US and international versions. Currently, they are separate, meaning the same event is priced differently on the two platforms.
