I presented a session about DT&HM Online for NCEA to a great group of #digitaltechnologies teachers and #lifelonglearners this week at @CS4HS_AUT. It's rewarding being able to share such a great resource, free to NZ schools.
People who were wondering today at @CS4HS_AUT about bringing students to @SheSharp_NZ events (or just attending themselves as teachers), I fully recommend it. Getting familiar with places and people and ideas in tech is 👍
A useful phrase from @teuilafuatai this morning, re being clear with covid-deluded friends/fam: "... I say this with love ... what you're suggesting does not mesh with my understanding... and I actually think it's harmful"
My cat isn't meowing at the door every 5 mins just to be a pain in the arse, she cares deeply about my physical health and wants me to leave the computer occasionally.

@andymakes_ My classes loved 10fastfingers - a lesson per term of typing test competition and mayhem. I reminded then they are competing against their own initial score, not the person next to them. Then I'd dramatically test myself (with projector on) and loudly act exasperated. Fun!
Our Ten Minute Techie Episode for this week is out!
