On this joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, I extend my warmest greetings to my Muslim brothers and sisters across the nation and particularly to the great and resilient people of Borno, who have thrived in the face of relentless adversity brought about by an insurgency that has continued to ravage the state, leading to colossal loss of lives, businesses and other properties. Borno shall rise again, God willing.
As we conclude the holy month of Ramadan, let us carry forward the lessons of sacrifice, patience, and empathy into our daily lives. This season reminds us that despite our challenges, our strength lies in our unity and our shared commitment to a more prosperous Nigeria.
Let us celebrate with moderation and remember to reach out to the less privileged among us. May the blessings of Allah (SWT) fill your homes with joy and your hearts with peace.
