L'avocat des causes sahraouie 🇪🇭 et palestinienne 🇵🇸 est décédé ;

Après une courageuse lutte contre une maladie incurable, feu #Gilles_Devers avocat et défenseur acharné des causes justes des peuples, s'est éteint ce matin, 26 novembre 2024. La maladie qui l'a frappé il y a plus de quatre ans ne l'a pas empêché d'être présent dans les couloirs et les salles des grandes cours internationales au #Luxembourg 🇱🇺 et à La Haye pour défendre les deux causes sahraouie et palestinienne auxquelles il croyait énormément. Dans ses derniers jours, il disait qu'il partirait l'esprit tranquille, ayant gagné les deux mandats d'arrêt de la #CPI contre des responsables israéliens en novembre 2024, et les décisions de la #CJUE qui ont annulé les accords illégaux signés entre le #Maroc 🇲🇦 et l'UE 🇪🇺 en octobre 2024. Un homme exceptionnel laisse derrière lui un héritage unique en tant qu’avocat brillant et un homme irréprochable. Nous présentons nos plus sincères condoléances, d’abord aux deux peuples sahraoui et palestinien, et puis à sa famille et à ses amis. RIP

HAPPENING NOW: in occupied #Al_Aaiun #WesternSahara, #Morocco’s #MOF is now cutting electricity from the house of #Ali_Salem_Tamek (President of @CODESA_SO) @ali_tamk and #Lmojahid family. Ali Salem’s house serves as the CODESA’s “office” where a gathering was planned to commemorate #Gdeim_Izik anniversary.
After deploying numerous oppressive and discriminatory methods, cutting energy supplies is today’s tool.

Does #Morocco’s anger reveal its #Apartheid nature in #WesternSahara?
Since its first congress, @CODESA_SO membres became primary targets for #Morocco’s occupation forces (MOF). Oppression takes many forms such as arbitrary detention, incomes cutting,threatening family members,imposing siege on houses,physical abuse, … and many more. In a recent event,the #MOF is targeting personal Saharawi properties. After land grabbing and settlements expansion, and on the same day of the @EUCourtPress ruling, a car owned by our colleague #khadijattu_Dweih was attacked. Agents destroyed her car tires and threatened repair shops if they provide any assistance.
