Hello #medtwitter!
My name is Catherine Shield. I am an MS4 MD student at LSUHSC New Orleans applying to #obgyn for #Match2022 & am couples matching w/ my IM partner. I'm excited to connect w/ my fellow applicants, mentors, & programs! Good luck everyone! #obgyntwitter
It’s a Match for us both!! I am so excited that I get to be an OBGYN! I can’t wait until Friday to see where John and I end up! Congratulations to everyone who matched today! 🎉🥳 #Match2022#couplesmatch
In honor of #MatchDay this week I wanted to share the person who inspired me to go after my dreams. My grandpa worked tirelessly so that I could have the privilege of this journey and no matter what happens this week I will be a doctor soon because of him. #Match2022#SiSePuede
So many teens come to their first gynecology visit with through-the-roof anxiety because their mothers have tried to "prepare" them for what to expect. No one should ever be afraid to go to the doctor, at any age, for any issue. 🧵

@SimiMittal I finally looked up this game you've been tweeting about all week. I'm not very good at it and I'm not sure I'm even playing the right game. 🙈 Wordle 221 5/6

@SimiMittal Aww thank you so much! ❤️ I am so blessed to have you on this journey. You are such a wonderful friend to John and I. You are gonna be an amazing #OBGYN and I know programs out there are loving you! Keep crushing it! 💪
Of note: HPV vaccine has now been approved by the FDA to prevent Throat Cancer for all genders. Throat cancer is even more common than cervical cancer and affects mostly men.
All genders should get the shot!
