THIS! Seen nothing but mayhem from Highbury corner upwards but standing at the end of New North Rd (Bentham Court) was such a good vibe nothing too crazy, apart from some cunt nearly setting himself a light with a flare
I think it depended on where you stood / how you got there/home
I left my house at 12pm, parked in the boarder between Hackney and Islington for free, walked 8min to Essex Road, had front row, waited for 3 hours that went by super quick chatting with friends, had a coffee shop next to us with a toilet too
After that cut between estates to upper st to see the bus again, walked through confetti then back to my car and home
I think too many people picked popular spots that were way too busy
@GranitJacka Mate the pub I’m in had fucking yuppy uni students who supported Coventry and Bristol tryna give it to me and my pals and I just looked at them so bewildered like wtf is their problem
North London forever, actually titled The Angel, was never “manufactured.”
Louis didn’t write the song for the club, he wrote it because he’s from Islington, and it was about his hometown.
Arsenal fans heard it and felt like it needed adopting. Spoke to the club, and the rest is history.
