Now that the season is over, I just want to make it clear that Nate Shields @shields_na8096 is the best Offensive Lineman I have ever witnessed at Trinity High School. Master technician, tremendous footwork, brilliant mind, outstanding teammate and the heart of a three-time champion. Every time he was out there, his impact was on display. Each week, he went against 3/4/5 star ends and linebackers in games and in practice and I’m not sure he ever gave up a sack or made an egregious holding penalty.
I know the All-State teams can be skewed or biased, but in my humble opinion through 30-plus years of watching @TrinityHSFB he is the best.
Congrats on an epic run Nate. Go Rocks!
