@RobotReorg @madabouttesla @NeekoC18 @iowateslaguy And even then a Prius is simply a better bargain. The newer NIMH packs give great range and are a DIY swap. Tons of room inside and safe and proven reliability without the threat of a rogue software (or rogue CEO) update bricking my car.
@RobotReorg @madabouttesla @NeekoC18 @iowateslaguy Oh I have too. The cost of ownership of the average Toyota is incredibly low. I can’t imagine anything coming close, even an EV. EVs are very expensive to register in my state in addition to insurance, and dealing with finding a charging station. It’s not there yet for all.
@scidood @madabouttesla @iowateslaguy The source is his ass. My Toyota has the OEM Denso compressor from Japan installed 22 years ago. I change oil every 8K miles and brakes go 90K miles because I engine brake and drive like a sane person. $3K is some copium bull.
@nunyabizkness @BeltFedGT @CharliePryor@BLKMDL3 Just because you can legally in your state (This is not true elsewhere) doesn’t mean a tow truck is going to show up. I’m asking if you personally have done this, or just enjoy bitching online.
@William_S_Chen@realMWO The national guard would swoop in and immediately destroy them. It would be a funny sight. Plenty of us who truly believe in the country and its core values are armed against these insurrectionist half-wits.
@Boo53921181 @CatMar55071366@realMWO Wait until he finds out how many of us who own guns don’t support maga. Oh he’ll never know because we don’t make it a boring personality trait, but we are ready.
@nunyabizkness @BeltFedGT @CharliePryor@BLKMDL3 I see two pixels so it could say anything. 🤷. A sign doesn’t mean a towing company is going to show up either, or that you have the legal authority to boot it. It’s not as easy as you claim.
@nunyabizkness @BeltFedGT @CharliePryor@BLKMDL3 Random person’s driveway != some rando charging location. The property owner has to enforce the towing with signage depending on the state.
