This Saturday, Sept. 30 from 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM, join artist Monica Cervone McElwain for a kayak tour to Turtle Cove! Participants will paddle along the Allegheny River to Turtle Cove where they will see sculptures and artwork created by the Cove's visitors.
Participants can fine tune the site by adding to the existing sculptures or creating new ones using natural and unique findings on the Cove. These findings can also be brought back to the marina for an art activity after the tour.
In one week, Little Amal will take her first steps in Boston to start her 6,000 mile journey across America! Along the way, Amal will visit Pittsburgh on September 21 at noon at the Great Lawn, North Shore Riverfront Park.
