To my non french moots, what’s happening in France right now is heartbreaking
Students are taking the streets and protesting bc they’re tired of being ignored. They’re asking for better education, better conditions in schools, more resources for students and teachers, and a future where their voices are actually heard❕
But what’s more disturbing is seeing how these protests have been handled. We’re seeing dangerous police interventions against minors. Police are using powerful weapons and grenades against them, young people have suffered serious injuries during these police interventions, one lost his hand and part of his forearm after a police grenade exploded, while another lost sight in one eye after being hit by a police projectile!!
I stand with the students. I stand with their right to protest, to be heard, and to demand a better future🤍
Trump administration refuses international election monitors for first time in over 2 decades.
The decision not to invite observers from the OSCE puts the U.S. alongside Russia and Belarus, while the Justice Department prepares to deploy its own poll monitors.

@97_Hayden@lauraslavandic ultimately I do agree with his attitude towards Israel's participation but did I feel that his view of Bulgaria's victory was very demeaning towards eastern Europe and their relationship with the contest
Canada national team coach Jesse Marsch has said that FIFA’s decision to suspend a ban for United States forward Folarin Balogun is one that would “never happen in any other country” in the world and an example of Americans believing the country deserves to be “treated differently”.
Marsch, speaking ahead of Canada’s exhibition game against the U.S. on Tuesday night in Minnesota, told The Guardian: “As Americans, we have been inundated with propaganda since we were young.
“We’re the No 1 country in the world, we deserve everything, No 1 in every aspect of life — this is what we’ve been told. So, when things happen and we don’t feel like we’re in control of it … we feel like we deserve to be treated differently because we’re Americans. That is one of the things that infuriates the rest of the world about Americans.”
He said he felt it would not have happened in any other country, claiming “this is why everyone around the world hates America.”
Marsch added: “The U.S. had had a good World Cup, was doing well. All that switched in one moment.”

The Catholic Church is the most conservative institution out there but it’s left-coded because it believes on limits to human power while modern “conservatism” is all about worshipping Baal and Moloch.

I came across this post and had to share 😭 Uzbekistan’s volleyball team arrived in Japan unaware of the matching-socks rule. With only hours to avoid a potential forfeit, they rushed to FamilyMart—and somehow found socks in their national colors 🇺🇿 🥺
