After graduating from Stanford University, Shiho Watabe began her career in the investment banking department at Morgan Stanley Securities. In 2008, she joined Google, where she took on marketing responsibilities across Japan, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, and Africa. Her expertise led him to Google headquarters in 2014, and in 2017, he moved to Mercari's US branch to further their expansion.
In 2020, Shiho joined ELSA Corp., an AI startup funded by Google, as head of marketing. Her strategic leadership was instrumental in growing the business and securing critical funding. Currently, she serves as an advisor for Shibuya Ward and has held her latest position since February 2023.
