Is our society as liberal as what it used to be back then? Place matters. Context matters. Occasion matters.
Why aren't you going to your office meetings in short clothes? Why bother? If you have decency for office, you should have the same respect for festivals too. Just because everyone is doing it doesn't make it acceptable.

Men never cease to piss me off. They body shame women, bully them, make sexual comments about them, and then genuinely wonder, “Why don’t I have a girlfriend?” Like bro, you spent your entire life making women uncomfortable and somehow expected the final reward to be a girlfriend. Apparently basic decency is too much to ask, but female attention is somehow an entitlement.
