Thanks for the screenshot — that's super helpful! Good news: your answers are saved, nothing's lost. The app just couldn't reach your server when sending them (that red "Couldn't reach Hermes" line). Check your connection to your host, then tap Retry or "Send answers now" again — Create should appear right after. If it keeps failing, tell us and we'll dig deeper. 🙏

Exactly the right worry — and it's why approvals aren't one generic popup.

Routine commands get an Always-allow whitelist per session, so you approve once and stop seeing them. Only the risky stuff (sudo, secrets, destructive commands) keeps asking, each as its own card with full context — and they're scoped per chat, so prompts never leak across sessions.

Parked approvals survive reconnects, and since v2.x you can Approve/Deny/Always straight from the notification shade without opening the app. The goal: you tap when it matters, never when it doesn't.

Play Store is planned. On open source: the Hermes Agent backend is already open source (MIT) — that's where all the system access lives. Hermes Go is a thin client that talks to it over WebSocket, so it doesn't add any new permissions the agent doesn't already have.

On trust — totally fair point. "Trust me" isn't the same as "verify it yourself." That's a real gap and I'm not pretending it isn't.

On docs — you're right, OTA/Supabase/privacy docs would help. Quick version: Expo OTA pushes JS updates after APK hash verification (no native changes without a new APK). Supabase is feedback storage only — no auth, no chat, no user data. The app connects to your own self-hosted server, no third-party analytics, no telemetry by default.

And noted on the open source question — if that ever happens, I'll remember this offer.
