Thank you @Peter_Tabuns for bringing forward our ask to the Minister of Transportation to take necessary steps to ensure noise levels in the school’s classrooms meet the WHO standards for noise to protect the children during the Ontario Line construction https://t.co/zgyG8rjRpo
It’s been a whirlwind of excitement with the NAREA winter conference and opening of the Mosaic of Marks, Words, Material exhibit @BishopStrachan Feeling very proud of all that we have accomplished to bring this work to Ontario ❤️
@Rabia_Khokhar1 We also love this book by the same author. We had a rubber duckling in our outdoor toy bin that the children kept throwing around. After reading this story the duck has a bed in our classroom!

Advice for education workers:
Don't attempt to reason with people who are willing to treat your potential death as acceptable collateral damage.
Instead work with those who are advocating for safer & healthier schools.

Other than decimate public education and poorly handling everything to do with COVID in Ontario is there anything that the Ford Government has actually done?!!
This school was planned under the previous government.
Yet another announcement taking credit for someone else.
Other than a brief media appearance on Thursday, nothing has changed and Ford has gone back into hiding. Municipalities are taking action as the provincial government remains in stand by mode. @fordnation needs to resign.
More than a year in, scientists like @dfisman wonder when will we all understand that COVID-19 is airborne?
“And when we say this is the dominant mode of transmission, yes we believe this is driving the pandemic.”

This is a reminder that the Ministry of Education has stopped reporting cases in schools despite the fact that Special Education students and educators are still going in and cases are happening. https://t.co/Rg5UgAO702
Imagine a world so inequitable that low wage workers in poor districts (ie hotspots) fight to win a competition to survive but people in rich districts live in luxury with barely any competition at all.
Is this the Hunger Games?
Nope, it’s Ontario’s #COVID19 vaccine rollout.
Only with Doug Ford’s government would you see Ontario’s highest risk areas getting the least amount of vaccines. Disgraceful leadership. Certainly not “for the people”. #onpoli
Did you know that lobbyists for Walmart are former @fordnation staffers? Certain lockdown decisions suddenly make a lot more sense.
I missed this story from November 2020, amid the province’s slow and painful collapse: https://t.co/pyLyGdQEiF
