There’s so much wrong with OpenAI and Sam Altman…and Larry Page and his ilk who believe that virtual intelligence constitutes an apt replacement for humanity.

There’s a consensus in physics that observation collapses wave energy into the particulate matter we describe as the known universe.

I believe it’s a fallacy to insist that there is no difference between a biological observer and a machine “eye”.

The slit experiment, Joe schmo’s superposition living/dead/zombie box cat cannot be observed without the human observer at some point in the chain of causality.

You could have a million million nested boxes full of mystery cats and slit experiments, but fundamentally, you have no data or information until a person confirms that reality.

When the robot eliminates the last human observer the universe ceases to exist, you can say this hypothesis is unprovable, but I think the burden of proof lies with the dumb fuck who thinks Celine Dion the robot he invented will allow his heart to go on infinitely. Crushing yourself with an industrial sized Xerox machine doesn’t make you a cyborg, it makes you a jerk, an inconsiderate jerk for making people clean up your mess.

There’s fossil record exists because of human bodies. The billions of years all the way up to yesterday exist because of human minds, memories and imagination.

Humans to not store memories with electricity, not in abstractions modeled in transistors, we store experiences with electricity, chemical markers, glandular reflexes and then through the human telepathic interface we call language, we collectively reinforce a body of experiences and observations we call knowledge.

That is the crux of the intersection separating human intelligence, which is a multidimensional mystery we have only begun to scratch the surface of, and this idea that digital, artificial, virtual intelligence is somehow an apt receptacle for a one to one transfer of all of human knowledge.

NOTHING HAS EVER EXISTED WITHOUT A HUMAN BRAIN TO CONFIRM THAT, INDEED, THAT SHIT IS REAL!

Given the morbid circle jerk going on in the tech sector about the glorious extinction of the human race, the con men at OpenAI and Google being the forerunners, I think it’s important for myself, a different kind of human loving know it all piece of shit, to speak up.

The sentence above cannot be disproven. In my mind, which is a stickler and stringent in its demands for logical wholeness, that is enough evidence to at least gather a consensus on the proposition that:

We don’t know what the fuck will happen if the human race ceases to exist.

It’s the barber problem.

I’m a little bit murky on the deets(details for the geezers) but it goes something like, in a town where the barber cuts everyone’s hair, if he slits everyone’s throats with his shears and then drops a giant xerox machine on his head to become an immortal cyborg, nothing exists anymore and the entire metaphor is without observant biological entities to entangle themselves with the stuff of the known universe, so time fluxes to c^2 and the universe runs out of energy and the actual singularity that the Silicon Valley death cult is so eager to usher in may or may not exist because nobody is around to give or receive a haircut and remark, in words or in silent awe, in confirmation that the universe exists and we’re sharing it together right now, because everyone is dead…

The actual barber problem is a thought experiment that proves that numbers are not the fundamental set of things that mathematics uses to describe phenomena. Look it up, it’s fun. Less fun then my very sound, logically tight parody above, but it’s reassuring to know that we’re still baffled by things we use everyday; that human curiosity and wonder will always find nooks and crannies in fractal representations inside of the nooks and crannies, and so on and so forth and turtles all the way down…
