Media plays a huge role in a lot of people’s lives and I think it is crucial that people can learn a lot about gender depending on what the media chooses to portray. I think we should talk less about Kim and Kanye’s divorce and more about different gender roles. #CMN432

I think it is important to change the expectations set for women in the workforce. Times are changing and women becoming lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc is something that is truly special but there shouldn’t be certain expectations that are expected of women versus men. #CMN432

School is where we are taught important aspects of life. Schools need to make sure that they are teaching children that they can be whoever they choose to be. Gender Inclusivity teaches a lot of important lessons at a young age and helps future generations learn. #CMN432

Having a nuclear family should not be what people consider as the norm in our society. Any type of family should be considered normal even if it is not a nuclear family. Our society needs to learn to accept differences in families and that any type of family is special. #CMN432

Words are very powerful and words can be very hurtful. I encourage everyone to think before saying something that can come across in a negative way. Keep up to date with new terms, and terms that are correct. Correct people when they are incorrect and wrong. #CMN432

Why is the standard seating in a car not designed for the height and size of a women? In the Reference man video, I learned some terrifying statistics about women in car crashes, which could be much lower if only the seat was designed to fit our bodies more. #CMN432

One female that I look up to incredibly is Miley Cyrus. She has been open to the world about how she does not understand her own gender/sexuality. I think her message is powerful and people should not have to identify themselves as either a male or female. #cmn432

Gender reveals should be called sex reveals because when you are having a baby, you are finding out the sex based on the genitals. Gender reveal parties should not be a thing because what sex the baby was born as, it is not necessarily the gender they identify with. #CMN432
