The reason why Taylor gets so much hate online is because she's ambitious. Ambition is now seen as a crime on the left, because it's associated with capitalism and therefore evil.

If you get success, you're supposed to act like it's an accident and you didn't really want it. And this is triply true for women.

Taylor refuses to play that game. She is proudly ambitious. She seeks success, and doesn't do the fake humility about it.

And many on the online left hate that, because the left has often woked its way into adopting right wing ideas. And they've done that with the idea that women shouldn't be ambitious.
