The DOJ is investigating the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, a $27 billion Biden-era program that sent $20 billion to just 8 nonprofit groups—many tied to Obama and Biden officials—just weeks before Trump took office.

Most of the money was rushed into Citibank accounts after Kamala lost the election, with zero oversight and no repayment requirements. The groups, some formed only months before the grants, are packed with Democratic donors and ex-administration officials.

Trump’s EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin is now trying to claw back the funds, but contracts contain a trigger clause designed to release the money if Trump’s team intervenes.

Even watchdogs warn: This was always a slush fund.
