in to live and die in L.A. (1985), they really queer-coded the villains... the counterfeiter gang are like theater gays and they hang out at their club where they do cabaret lol. the main counterfeiter guy, played by willem dafoe, is a former painter 🧑‍🎨

when the head cop ("chase") finally meets up with the counterfeiter ("rick masters"), rick makes a bunch of sexual innuendos towards chase in a sinister and playful manner 🫢
