I have never played a Fire Emblem game but love JRPGS (Dragon Quest, Bravely Default, etc)
If any of my mutuals who love the series see this, let me know why I should pick up Fortunes Weave + do I have to play the previous games at all?
People trashing the pull rates on a anniversary/celebratory set like Crown Zenith at the end of SWSH block didn't offer the same type of opening experience and pull rates
It is a card game meant to be opened, appreciated and played with - not some stock you've invested in just ENJOY them because pull rates will return to normal with the next mainline set release
(Not to mention 3 years after Crown Zenith the secondary market for mid era and modern cards has never been bigger)
With how open I am about my identity...
If you are still misgendering me IT IS A CHOICE and I won't correct you - I instead will just stop talking to you
Not asking for understanding or sympathy, just some simple respect as a human being
Shout out the majority of my friends and collaborators who address me correctly
I FELL ASLEEP AFTER THE DIRECT AND NOW THE METROID RAVENOUS SPECIAL EDITION IS SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I WANT THIS SO BAD FOEFOPEFDJOP;SF
Every time I finish a new project I get hit with these waves of emotion and gratitude
Being able to dedicate my time to my craft and deliver the best experiences to yall is a blessing, and I appreciate each and every one of yall for sharing and enjoying the art I make
Stuff like this hits close to home for me -when I was a teenager my mom tried everything she could to kill the creativity in me and control my life
She would discipline me by taking anything that allowed for creative expression in any degree - clothes, shoes, books, games and eventually took my first USB microphone away along with my computer
She raided my room when I was 15 and threw away years worth of short stories, lyrics and drawings I had because "no normal kid would be spending this much time on stuff like this" and called me "mentally unwell" for writing so much about my feelings and life at the time
I was painted as the problem kid of the family, fated to grow up into a failure and was constantly reminded how in choosing to pursue anything other than what she wanted for me I was letting down my family and disrespecting my dead father's wishes
There's alot more I could share, but moral of the story is don't feed into it - work for what you believe in and when things get tough and toxic try your hardest to quietly remove yourself from that environment because parents like this don't change their tune until you "have something to show for it" and refuse to acknowledge that creative/online ventures can be legitimately worthwhile, especially nowadays
My sleep schedule SO messed up but we getting so much work done
That will always be the trade off as a creative but hey its ALOT of new music coming yall way😭
