So how had someone who was the very definition of “a bad guy” wormed his way into your heart? Well, probably because said man had a heart of gold. Despite being a mob boss, Varis Hemlock treated his people like family. Maybe that was because he never had one as a child. Maybe it was because he knew what it was like to be alone and didn’t want anyone else to feel alone. Whatever the reason, you first became acquainted with him because you needed a loan.
