Former Kangaroo Phoenix Spicer has passed away at the age of 23.

He spent three years on North Melbourne's list, playing 12 games between 2021-2023.

Our thoughts are with Phoenix's family, friends, and all those close to him.

#BREAKING: Two Yarra Valley Grammar students involved in the creation of a cruel ranking list of female classmates have been expelled, the school has confirmed.

The list circulated via online communities platform Discord, and cruelly rated the boys' female peers into categories ranging from "wifeys" and "cuties," through to "mid," "object," and "unrapeable."

Yarra Valley Grammar principal Dr Mark Merry this morning confirmed that, as part of investigations into the incident, two students involved in the list have been expelled."

Yesterday I formed the view that the position of two students at Yarra has become untenable and as a consequence they will not be returning to the school," Dr Merry's statement read.

Other students who played "a lesser role" in the matter have been subject to further disciplinary action, the school also confirmed.

Dr Merry also stated that the school would be reviewing its respectful relationships programs as a result of this incident, asserting "more work needs to be done to ensure that everyone feels valued and respected here at school."
