A drone was used to assist in documenting and surveying the existing equipment on the mast.

This council owned property had a 30m long, 1.5m high blockwork retaining wall. The retaining wall had failed due to build up of water pressure behind the wall.

Shire Consulting completed a two-storey steel framed extension to an Art and Design Technology Block of a school.
The structure consisted of a steel frame with pre-cast concrete floors to create the open space for teaching purposes.

Shire were approached to carry out a site investigation to understand the ground conditions below the proposed development site.
The investigation comprised of six boreholes and dynamic probes carried out using hand tools due to the steep gradient on site.

Shire produced a foundation base for a memorial in the shape of the Star of David. It was important that minimal excavation took place due to the proximity of mature trees. The holocaust victims remains are buried at the centre of the memorial.

The project won the Healthcare Project of the Year in the Structural Timber Awards in 2021 and won the award for Best Sustainable Development at the RISE 2022 awards.
