Today is Africa Day. And here is a fact most Africans have never been taught.
Between 500 BCE and 700 CE, a civilization called the Garamantes built 750 kilometers of underground irrigation tunnels beneath the Sahara Desert in what is now Libya. They had no river. They built gravity-fed channels that pulled water from deep aquifers and turned desert into farmland that fed a population of 50,000.
They grew grapes, figs, wheat, olives and dates in the middle of the Sahara.
Modern engineers still study these tunnels today for sustainable irrigation solutions. But this is not taught in most African schools. Just like the building techniques, the craftsmanship, and the engineering knowledge before it, we are losing it without ever knowing we had it.
Fun fact: Sarafina's character was actually based on Winnie Madikizela Mandela. Sarafina isn't about the 76 uprising, but the '85 state of emergency. The filmmakers knew they wouldn't get away with it if they made Sarafina an adult. So they made her a radical high school who could chant "free mandela", get arrested, tortured and still make it out alive...thats because THAT was Winnie's REALITY.
Infact Sarafina was brainstormed in mam'Winnie's kitchen.

This is my hill. There is no amount of voting that is going to change a rigged system.
You have to educate yourselves on resistance. It is resistance that brings down fascists. Your ancestors lived in resistance. From their waking to sleeping.
You can't run away from it.
The President Is Out of Order.
The Office of the Auditor General is a constitutional office, not a department of State House. Dismissing a report that questions the loss of KES 50 billion from SHA undermines the Constitution itself.
KES 50 billion is not a clerical error. It is public money collected from the sweat of Kenyans.
To brush aside such findings insults every Kenyan who struggles to access healthcare while public resources disappear.
You cannot swear to protect the Constitution on Tuesday and tear it up on Wednesday because the truth hurts.
Yesterday I saw an advert on Citizen TV promoting a herbicide called SRASHER to farmers in Kenya.
Before people rush to buy it, please share this message in your WhatsApp groups, especially those with farmers.
This herbicide contains chemicals such as Atrazine and Acetochlor. Studies have linked these two long-term exposures to serious health concerns, including:
• Endocrine (hormone) disruption affecting estrogen & testosterone balance
• Reproductive effects like reduced sperm quality & menstrual cycle disruption, irregular periods, etc
• Possible birth defects in heavily exposed populations
• Cancer concerns studied in relation to breast, ovarian, liver, lung, thyroid cancers, and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma
• Nervous system effects such as headaches, dizziness, nausea & weakness
• Liver toxicity, including enlargement and enzyme changes
• Possible kidney stress
• Skin & eye irritation from direct contact
Ahmed Dagalo's passport has been deleted from the immigration database. He had listed +254722000000 as his no in the form to apply for one of his children. This is the official no @SafaricomPLC.

For those saying I'm talking rubbish, this is what Israel 🇮🇱 did in the Cape, South Africa 🇿🇦: they isolated themselves from Blacks after acquiring land. Never forget they were solid supporters of the apartheid regime in South Africa.
