Welsh expert panel has produced a state of play report on how TB control is going.
Of course such a panel will always use measured language, but even so it is extraordinarily critical of the Welsh Government.

Really sad news, afraid. Ianto's Shrine is being taken down the end of April. I will try and take off cups and other small items. It is really sad. I am devastated.
Swansea Spinal Unit has a Spinal Fellow vacancy. Rather than tell you about the unit, though, I thought I'd leave these local photos here.
DM me if interested. The post is for a year.
Have your say! The #VeterinarySurgeonsAct 1966 is no longer fit for purpose. We’re working with the UK Govt to help shape new primary legislation and want your views.

@type1bri I guess your pump is more easier to access than mine? It will be easier than popping to a bathroom when out or in a meeting or grappling around in a dress 😊
Can’t emphasise this enough … the losses from this disease are devastating (75% mortality in sheep, 60% infertility in cattle) . Do not wait until you are loosing animals, vaccinate now , it is literally your last chance to head this off
First Bluetongue cases of this season reported:
2 cattle in Herefordshire on a pre-movement test, one sheep in Oxfordshire w clinical signs.
WELSH FARMERS: Bluetongue is on our doorstep, it is only a matter of time until it spreads.

Thanks Aled, there's nothing like a farmer to farmer talk to share experiences .
Angen cyd weithio gyda'n gilydd I gadw'r clwyf allan, a pawb i wneud eu gorau glas 👍
Don't underestimate the potential of bluetongue virus to hammer your livestock.
Vaccination is our best chance.
Angen I ni gyd wneud ein gorau glas I hybu brechu da a defaid
@markrhysdavies I buy spares as well for similar reasons. Abbot will replace if faulty - but they can take a while to come - and if you don't have a spare. It's easier and quicker to buy some. And sometime I have knocked one off accidentally...
Man vs Horse is held every year in mid Wales.
Only 5 people have ever beaten the fastest horse (in hot weather usually as humans are more adapt at running in those conditions)
Well this year, a first ever WELSHMAN beat the horses - Dewi Griffiths from Swansea.
Llongyfs, Dewi👏
*NEWS* We have serious concerns that @CMAgovUK's proposed remedies for the vet market for pets are disproportionate, will impact smaller independent practices, and in some cases are unworkable.

How much would an FOI cost the state to look into the cost of the cma investigation of the vet market in Sa practice? Loads of time and energy to produce a huge document of unworkable proposals that, if put into practice, would make matters worse.
@coldasice58 No problem. Insulin shouldn't go in the hold as it can freeze. So I pack my spare pens and insulin vials in my frio and keep it with me in my hand luggage. I always have to have to be checked as not taking pump through the X-ray.
