Xi Jinping took charge of China in 2013.
Modi of India in 2014.
Maybe instead of comparing Modi with Nehru ji, it'll be a more fruitful exercise to compare his performance with that of Xi Jinping.
On AI
On R&D
On STEM
On Exports
On Employment
On Manufacturing
On Public nutrition
On Public education
On Mass prosperity ...
Maybe that'll help all of us much more in setting our national goals better.
Sharma's son has been tragically killed in the same region where he bluntly and openly wanted a comprehensive genocide of other innocents by Zionists. His son was killed in a war of choice by those he so admires. Hate begets hate. Violence begets violence. There could not be a starker example.

I visited the southernmost tip of India.
I stood at Indira Point. I walked under trees that have stood for centuries. I dove into coral reefs among the most vibrant on earth.
And I sat with the people who live there. Tribal communities, whose land is being taken away by violating the Forest Rights Act. Settlers, many of them former soldiers, placed on these islands by the Indian government, who aren’t getting fair compensation.
The Modi government and BJP tells you Great Nicobar Project is about defence. It is not.
Expand INS Baaz - we will back the government fully. The Navy has been asking for expansion for five years - it has been ignored.
They tell you it is about a transhipment port. It is not. India is already building one in Kerala, which is on the mainland.
What it actually is: 1.5 crore trees felled. Coral reefs erased from official maps. Soldiers and tribals displaced - so one businessman can build hotels and casinos on India’s most irreplaceable ecological land.
Every young Indian I have spoken to understands this. You know that no amount of profit is worth destroying what can never be recovered.
I stand for ecologically balanced development. These islands can be the most extraordinary sustainable destination the world has ever seen. That is the India worth fighting for.

Note left behind by a NEET aspirant who killed herself
"Mom and Dad, you had faith that your daughter would study hard and become a doctor, but I no longer have the courage to take the NEET exam again. I was scoring good marks in my first attempt, but now there is no guarantee that I will perform well again. I am sorry, Mom and Dad. I have ruined everything."

Actually am quite pleasantly surprised that all these teenagers and their parents were okay to appear in this video. That’s the kind of grit a lot of people haven’t shown. The simple act of speaking up
Having spent decades analysing and writing about his life, a journey that led to my 2003 biography “Nehru: The Invention of India”, I remain profoundly struck by the enduring relevance of his legacy. On his death anniversary, we honor a visionary polymath whose lifelong devotion to democracy-building, social justice and secular pluralism laid the bedrock of our republic.

Sandeep Chaudhary — A journalist was arrested just bcz he showed ‘Namak-roti’ being served in a school in UP. Why the journalist who called Vedant a Pakistani should not be arrested?
BJP spokes — No answer
Ashok Shrivastava should not be let go away, he must be arrested.
Once DD fired an anchor for calling Xi Jinping, Eleven Jinping and now this vile, disgusting man @AshokShrivasta6 is still there after attacking a child with fake news. We've hit rock bottom as a society.

Complete mess. #CBSE
My daughter finally received the scanned copies of 4 answer sheets and to our shock, page number 22 is missing from one of the documents. On top of that, marks have not been awarded for several answers that exactly match the official answer key. And this isn’t limited to just one paper the same issue appears across multiple subjects.
Instead of focusing on competitive exams and college admissions, students are being forced to run from pillar to post just to understand why correct answers were ignored or pages went missing.
Do the authorities even understand what 30-35 marks can mean for a Class 12 student whose entire future and admission process depends on these scores?
This is not a small administrative lapse. This is playing with the careers, mental health and future of thousands of students.
Shame on a system that continues to fail students. And shame on those at the helm who continue to remain silent while young lives are pushed into anxiety and uncertainty.
The system has failed us once again. Alas. #CBSE @cbseindia29@AllCBSENews@cbse_guide@dpradhanbjp@PMOIndia
How can anyone be so insensitive? 😰
10-year old girl was sexually assulted & brutally killed.
And these police officers were cracking jokes & laughing hysterically at the press briefing.
Nirmala Sitharamans convoy in Vapi on May 7th.. Being the finance minister, she must be knowing about the fuel crisis, yet she chose to travel with 30-40 cars just before PMs announcement to save fuel in India. Who are they fooling?🤡
Remembering Rajiv Gandhi on the anniversary of his tragic death.
He was one of the warmest, most decent human beings to become Prime Minister of India. With him, what you saw was what you got; there was no deviousness, no subterfuge & certainly, no megalomania.
When he made mistakes he admitted it. When he felt he had been unfair to people he apologised. And despite growing up in a political family he never let the cynicism that characterises Indian politics get to him.
We often forget that he may have been the first Indian PM to have ever held a regular job, to have paid income tax and PF. This gave him an understanding of how salaried people in India lived & how the system was tilted against them. During his time taxes were lowered, the stock
market boomed and India prepared for the digital age.
He went too soon. If he had lived he would have returned to power sooner rather than later. By the time he died, he had learned from the early mistakes that his inexperience led him to make & was ideally placed to lead India into the 21 st Century and to forge a society
that had no room for divisiveness & hatred. As even his critics will concede, he was at heart a unifier, signing accords in Punjab, Assam & Mizoram, ending conflicts and building a better India.
If it comes to die for what you believe in, I don't hesitate - Last interview of visionary PM Bharat Ratna Sw. #RajivGandhi ji 🙏🏻

🔥100 Gun Salute to Pooja Meghwal!
On April 29 in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Dalit bride Pooja Meghwal was dressed as a beautiful bride and proudly seated atop a horse during her wedding procession.
But upper-caste men could not tolerate the sight of a Dalit woman riding a horse. They humiliated her, forced her to dismount, and attacked the entire procession.
Yesterday, Pooja rose again fearless and dignified. Mounted on the horse, holding a photograph of Jyotirao Phule, she led a massive procession to the Collectorate demanding justice.
This time, no one dared to stop her. Courage cannot be broken.
Dignity cannot be denied.
According to legend, when Tagore got news of his Nobel Prize, he was chairing a meeting on financial problems related to plumbing for the Santiniketan school he had founded. A man came in & gave him a telegram. Tagore read it, & said, “Money for the drains has just been found.”
