ममता बनर्जी की पुलिस आरोपियों को बचाने में जुट गई क्योंकि मुख्य आरोपी मुस्लिम था और तृणमूल कांग्रेस का नेता था

फोरेंसिक एक्सपर्ट के आए बिना घटनास्थल को खोल दिया गया 200 से ढाई सौ लोग गए ताकि पूरा डीएनए नष्ट हो जाए

और इस घटना के विरोध में जब आरजी कर मेडिकल कॉलेज के डॉक्टर और छात्रों ने लंबे समय तक विरोध किया था तब इस विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान एक महिला डॉक्टर ने कालीका का नृत्य किया था

और ऐसा लग रहा था कि उस महिला डॉक्टर के अंदर साक्षात काली मां आ गई है और उन्होंने कहा था कि डायन तू भस्म होगी डायन तेरा राज जाएगा
