Again I would advice you to read my comment one more time I responded to the analogy that you used comparing “Indian freedom fighters” with Hamas. If you go on my profile you’ll find hundreds of my posts and comments criticising Netanyahu and trump for their genocidal war crimes. But the Britishers did even worse to us Indians in later 17th and early 18th century.

What separates a terrorist and a freedom fighter is the way they respond to these war crimes. In all these years of freedom struggle you’ll not find even one incident that a freedom fighter of India killed a British child or a British woman. Because their war was with the colonisers not with innocent children.

The comparison doesn’t really make any sense to me. And my views are based on wide ranges of sources that I referred not just social media.

On Hezbollah and Hamas I call them terrorist groups because that’s how dozens of countries, including the US, UK, Canada, EU (for military wings), Arab League, Gulf states, and others designate them. There can be various reasons for this classification like deliberate attacks on civilians, suicide bombings, multiple rockets attack deep into cities, hostage-taking, and using human shields tactics that go far beyond “fighting back.”

Indian fighters (Congress, revolutionaries, etc.) largely targeted colonial military and government targets, not random civilians in buses, cafes, or schools. They wanted self-rule and democracy, not theocratic rule or global jihad or whatever kind of “resistance” that you describe them by.

Britain’s empire was colonial rule and even Britishers used the same term “colonies” they never really considered India as their country modern Israel is a recognized sovereign state defending against groups whose charters explicitly call for its destruction and use antisemitic rhetoric. “Fighting back” doesn’t justify October 7-style massacres or endless rocket fire at civilians.

I recognise the arguments given by other sides for the mass killing of children and women by Israeli govt and I do criticise them as well but it does not make other party innocent

I dont know if youve seen that news in which some girl was r*ped in the college hostel and then one of the parents literally said that we trusted the instititution but girls are safe nowhere so we are taking her back. it really broke my heart how can such a thing happen in a secured place like girl's hostel.
