UPDATE: Police, led by Kabalagala Division Police Commander Sydney Ayikoyo, have conducted an operation in Nsambya West, Buyondo Zone and surrounding areas, resulting in the arrest of several suspects linked to attacks on motorists, phone snatching and other street crimes. The crackdown is part of ongoing intelligence-led operations across Kampala and Wakiso districts targeting criminal gangs in identified hotspots. The suspects are currently in custody at Kabalagala Police Station pending screening. Police have urged residents to remain vigilant, report suspicious activity and exercise caution in high-risk areas.
