GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, MI.  The Michigan State Police Seventh District Special Investigation Section (SIS) was requested by the Traverse City Police Department to lead the investigation into an officer involved shooting that occurred today, at approximately 4:45 p.m. near Munson Place in Traverse City.

Officers from the Traverse City Police Department responded to a residence for a domestic violence assault situation involving a knife.

Preliminary investigation indicates that upon arrival, officers were confronted with a 50-year-old man armed with a knife. Officers utilized loud verbal commands to drop the knife; however, he did not comply and charged at officers. Officers deployed a taser which was ineffective. Officers then utilized their department-issued firearms to stop the immediate threat and fatally shot the suspect.

Officers immediately rendered first aid; however, the suspect succumbed to his injuries at the scene. A 58-year-old female was transported to a hospital where she is undergoing medical treatment, and her condition is unknown at this time. The officers involved were not injured during the incident.

The MSP Forensic Science Division Crime Scene Response Team has responded to the scene. The involved officers from the Traverse City Police Department are on paid administrative leave in accordance with departmental policy.  Once complete, all reports will be forwarded to the Grand Traverse County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

This incident remains under investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

🚨HOLY FU*KING HELL: A physician’s sworn affidavit just destroyed the official narrative.

He says he ran to the scene, identified himself as a doctor, and BEGGED to help Alex Pretti.

ICE agents blocked him, demanded a physician’s license, and still weren’t performing CPR.

When he finally got through, he found Pretti on his side with multiple gunshot wounds in his back and started CPR himself.

That’s the story: they shot him… then wouldn’t let a doctor treat him.
