Good #communication is key to good relationships. This is true in our personal & professional lives. Everyday, we have to practice how to communicate effectively, how to share our perspectives, and how to listen to others. We never stop learning how to communicate. #leadership
It not hard to call out racism, homophobia, and anti-blackness. It’s not hard to push for accountability and healing.

@dancaroselli Times like these I’m mad and sad I’m not at City Hall. There are so many people trying to do good work and these monsters distract from the real work! Disappointed that other leaders aren’t more vocal because of their own political calculations 🙄🤬
People say a lot of things out of anger/frustration. Racist comments aren’t the first things that come out in those moments, unless those are sentiments people believe. This likely sn’t the first time the councilmembers made those comments,it’s the first time they got caught!
@MrDOLPH There are so many issues and challenges that need to be solved for in this City and many elected leaders quickly devolve into acting like petty teenagers. Real progress is stifled for the most nonsensical reasons.
Black and Brown solidarity is an action. It’s an conscious decision to build together and to uplift a shared struggle and commitment to a shared future.
Black erasure. Political violence against Black People. The demonization of Black Children. None of this is acceptable.
There is a crisis in leadership on various levels throughout the City of Los Angeles and has been in recent years. We need people to LEAD! We need courageous leaders focused on making long-term operational change to improve the quality of life for all Angelenos!
