@physicae300 A quick google search tells me that manga in japan is about 500¥ to 700¥ (3.5-5$) per volume.
In my country it's 100 dkk to 149 dkk (15-23$) per volume. That's at least 3x as expensive as japan. Collecting manga as a kid was an incredibly slow process.
