@IlovCobblestone Even when seeds were checked, unexpected and unlucky things can still happen. It’s a best of 5 for a reason, and navigating those problems is a skill in itself
Under this format there will be seeds where a player wins simply because they are lucky. This problem was solved ages ago when each round was changed to a best of 5. Even with scuffed seeds, the more consistent players will win. (3/3)
Removing seedfinding is one of the best decisions the playoffs admins have ever made. Linear seeds heavily favour players who are mechanically skilled, but in this season the most consistent players are going to be set apart by (1/3)
their game knowledge, instincts, and fast decision making ability. I think the winner of playoffs should be one who has to utilize all of these skills at the highest level, which can only be done by competing on seeds that are left as they are. (2/3)

@AndronicusAOTC @DoyPingu I think the furthest they got was making a pickaxe. Some people made crafting macros, there’s a long lost google doc with them somewhere. I’m pretty sure someone also figured out how to control the computer outside the game so they restarted after fixing that lol
