Our local security architecture in Osun State is yielding results. If you see something, please report it.
I want to commend our Forest Guards, Amotekun Corps, hunters, and local security agents working in partnership with Traditional Rulers and Federal security formations deployed across rural areas and boundaries of Osun State.
Beyond their presence on the ground, these formations have significantly strengthened our intelligence gathering with field reports showing they are proactively identifying flashpoints along our boundaries and taking the right precautionary steps to keep our state safe, ensuring that any potential spillover from neighboring states is neutralized.
As a follow-up to the security architecture we have put in place in Osun State, I will be placing a call to my fellow Governors in states bordering Osun to further synchronize our security efforts and present a unified front.
The Osun state Deputy Governor, prince Kola Adewusi, Hon Rasheed Aderibigbe Asendo, Alhaji Muniru Raji, and Oluomo Kolapo Alimi with Alhaji Fatai Akinbade recently in Ibadan.
Everything is going well and Smooth Accordingly 👍✌️
Beautiful Monday morning to the good people of Osun State.
Another defeat for Osun APC as Hon. (Chief) Folorunso Oladoyin aka BAMBAM resigns from the party.
Former Commissioner for Education under Oyetola, two-term House of Assembly member, and the overall APC leader in Ife South. A chieftain, not a foot soldier of data boy
Oyetola’s APC is bleeding. And it’s not stopping.
Today, I heartily congratulate a seasoned media strategist, and dedicated public servant, Hon. Olusola Ajala (Big Daddy), on the joyous occasion of your birthday. I celebrate not only the passing of another year but also a life of remarkable service, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to truth, public enlightenment, and good governance.
As Special Adviser on Public Communication to His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, you have continued to demonstrate exceptional competence, strategic communication skills, and dedication to projecting the laudable achievements of the administration while strengthening the bond between government and the people.
As you mark this special day, I pray that Almighty God grants you continued good health, divine wisdom, greater accomplishments, and many more years of impactful service to humanity.
Signed:
Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun
Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly.

Following recent school kidnappings in our neighboring Oyo State, I have ordered the immediate revitalization of the Safe School Initiative as a precautionary step to prevent any spillover into Osun State.
My directives today:
- Immediate revitalization of the Safe School Initiative across all relevant agencies
- Beefed-up intelligence gathering, especially around rural & border schools
- Amotekun to strengthen partnership with community peace organisations
- Commissioner for Education & Security Adviser to meet and firm up the new plan.
To every parent and school authority in Osun State, hear me clearly:
We are resolved to secure our pupils across our schools. The existing safe school plan will be strengthened. Your children are safe and our schools are protected.
@OgbeniDipo How you consistently tweet with such confidence despite displaying so much ignorance from your abundance of foolishness is honestly impressive. Every time, you somehow manage to sound even less informed than before.
Campaign officially starts today
Time to face the streets with scorecards and ask questions about the opposition.
Let’s do this

Gov Adeleke Approves Conduct of 2026 Promotion Examinations
OSOGBO - 11/03/3026 - https://t.co/fRzeiXKpdK
Governor Ademola Adeleke has again demonstrated commitment to workers’ welfare by approving the conduct of the 2026 staff promotion exercises across the entire public service of the state.
Accordingly, the Head of Service, Elder Ayanleye Aina has directed the immediate commencement of the exercise by the affected agencies of government across the state.
The Head of Service recalled that, immediately the governor came on board in November 2022, he cleared the arrears of promotion on ground, including their cash backing, thereby restoring the lost confidence of public servants in the bureaucratic system.
He further emphasised that since 2023, promotion of workers and other allied establishments matters have continued unabated as at when due with financial backing.
For smooth conduct of the exercises, he further directed those in charge of the exercises to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that all necessary actions are taken promptly to ensure hitch free exercises.
While commending the governor for being workers friendly, Elder Aina tasked workers to reciprocate the good gestures of the Governor by being more committed to their work so that our people can reap more dividends of democracy.
Signed:
Mallam Olawale Rasheed ,
Spokesperson to the State Governor.
Yesterday, I was delighted to receive leaders of the disability community in Osun State at the Government House, where I reaffirmed my administration’s strong commitment to the welfare and inclusion of Persons With Disabilities. Our government believes no citizen should be left behind, which is why we signed the Disability Bill into law, established the Bureau of People with Disabilities, and ensured members of the community benefit from appointment and employment opportunities.
I also welcomed leaders of the Ndigbo community in Osun State who paid a courtesy visit and declared their support for our second-term bid. I appreciate their recognition of the developmental strides our administration has made and their continued contributions to the social and economic growth of our dear state.
As I assured them during our engagement, our government will continue to promote inclusiveness, support the progress of all communities, and sustain policies that strengthen unity, development and shared prosperity in Osun State. Together, we will keep building a state where every resident, regardless of background or ability have equal opportunity to thrive.
I am deeply grateful to the Osun Cooperative Movement, with over 130,000 members, for endorsing our administration for re-election. Your support is a strong affirmation of our commitment to grassroots economic empowerment and inclusive growth across Osun State.
From the outset, we deliberately placed cooperatives at the centre of our economic strategy. We have revived seed capital financing by disbursing over ₦1.6 billion in interest-free revolving loans, clearing withheld deductions, and strengthening cooperative institutions statewide. Where roads and bridges may not yet reach, economic empowerment through cooperatives is reaching our people.
With the establishment of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Empowerment, the rehabilitation of the Cooperative College at Ode-Omu, expansion of ward-based cooperatives, and targeted support for women, youths, persons with disabilities, and the diaspora, we are putting economic power directly in the hands of the people. Together, we will sustain this progress and deepen shared prosperity for all Osun citizens.
