NABARD என்ற அரசு வங்கியுடன் இணைந்து அரசு பள்ளிகளின் உள்கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகளை மேம்படுத்த தவெக அரசு புதிய முயற்சி மேற்கொண்டுள்ளதாக தவறாக பரப்பப்படுகிறது.

பரப்பப்படும் இந்த ஆவணத்திலே 13/08/2025 அன்று பள்ளிக் கல்வி துறை வெளியிட்ட அரசாணை (G.O) குறித்து தெளிவாக குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இத்திட்டம் முந்தைய அரசு எடுத்த நடவடிக்கையின் தொடர்ச்சி என்பதை காட்ட இதுவே போதுமானது.

மேலும், பள்ளிகளை மேம்படுத்த திமுக அரசு ஒன்றும் செய்யவில்லை என்றும் தவறாக பரப்பப்படுகிறது. திமுக ஆட்சியில் அரசு பள்ளிகளின் உள்கட்டமைப்பை மேம்படுத்த ‘பேராசிரியர் அன்பழகன் பள்ளி மேம்பாட்டு திட்டம்’ தொடங்கி அதற்காக ஐந்தாண்டுகளுக்கு சேர்த்து 7500 கோடி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டது.

மேலும் வேளாண்மை மற்றும் கிராமப்புற மேம்பாட்டுக்கான தேசிய வங்கி (NABARD) உடன் இணைந்து பள்ளிகளில் உள்கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகளை மேம்படுத்த 2024 ஆண்டிலிருந்து நிதி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. இத்திட்டத்தில் NABARD வங்கி 85 சதவீத நிதியும் தமிழ்நாடு அரசு 15 சதவீத நிதியும் கொடுக்கும்.

Fourteen months ago, @dt_next exposed the market for fake honorary doctorates, selling "Dr." titles for Rs 15,000 to Rs 45,000!

Today, the same paper, the same journalist @nanasaiin, names three #TVK MLAs who appear to have bought from precisely that market.

@Kanimozhi_tvk of Kavundampalayam uses the "Dr." prefix on her public material, while her Form 26 affidavit declares only a BA BL (Hons).

@selvamVNR of Virudhunagar is projected as "Dr Selvam" on posters and party material, while his affidavit shows only a Civil Engineering diploma.

Ramesh Kumar of Avadi uses the "Dr." prefix on posters, banners and social media profiles, while his affidavit shows only a BA degree.

Three legislators. One pattern. Sworn one qualification on oath in Form 26. Claimed a doctorate they do not hold in public.

As I told, the qualifications declared in affidavits do not match what is projected publicly. If public life is to be transparent, political parties must ensure their legislators are honest about their credentials.

The legal position is settled. Under the UGC Act, 1956, only universities established under a Central or State Act, or notified under Section 3, can confer any degree, including honorary ones. The bodies named in the 2025 expose are not on that list. The "Dr." prefix that follows is therefore not a degree in law. IT IS A PURCHASE.

@TVKVijayHQ has spoken often about transparency and integrity in politics. The ball is now in his court. Will #TVK ask its three named MLAs to publicly reconcile their affidavits with their "Dr." titles, or will the silence itself become the answer?
