@bhatnaturally I don’t get the point you are trying to make. Are you suggesting that speaking Tamil means their perspective is narrow? In a state that is one of the top performers in the country? If you believe in the era of smartphones they are limited because of language you are mistaken.

@bhatnaturally Not at all in favour of appeasement of any community whatsoever. That’s exactly my point. Not everything is perfect on either side but assuming the other point of view is deluded is unhelpful.

@bhatnaturally What a sweeping generalisation. Many of my metro bred convent educated peers are leading classical singers, health leaders, committed teachers including slokas and bhajans. It has nothing to do with English or metro and everything to do with family values.
