@MidgarQueenBee โWhy not? I trust your judgement when it comes to drinks. Havenโt served me a terrible one. Not yet.โ
Wall market wasnโt the worse place in Midgar, but it wasnโt exactly the best. Getting a good drink was all that seemingly mattered to him, and to an extent, it was. He hadโ
@MidgarQueenBee Surrounded by a few other bees, he left them a tip as his attention was immediately brought to her. Adjusting his suit, he quickly caught up to her, immediately noticing the height difference. Gripping his weapon, he slung it over his shoulder as he walked at her side.
โBet itโ
@MidgarQueenBee โsetting it on the bar.
โI can wait, then. Finish your shift. Iโll be here.โ
His gaze lingered for a moment before turning his attention away from her. As much as heโd rather not, the sooner she finished, the sooner they could leave.
@MidgarQueenBee He did, though heโd never mention it. He was a professional after all.
โThatโs fine with me. As much as I enjoy the atmosphere and staff here, I can be swayed to try elsewhere. Getting away from your work also helps.โ
With a chuckle, he pulled out the gil for the drink,โ
@MidgarQueenBee He doesnโt react, but finishes his drink. Tapping the counter to request another, his gaze meets hers. Her comment doesnโt go unnoticed, his smirk growing slightly more cocky.
โWell, then, let me at least buy you a drink after your shift. Nothing like a drink after a successfulโ
@MidgarQueenBee โand time away that much harder. Iโm here now.โ
Hands resting on the bar, he keeps his gaze on her for a few moments before returning to his drink.
โโฆIโm making up for my forced sobriety tonight.โ
@MidgarQueenBee โAWOL, me? Never.โ
Catching the drink, he immediately brings it to his lips. He had almost forgotten the drinks here tasted just a bit sweeter. Setting the drink down, he shrugged his shoulders.
โWorks been keeping me busy. Hard being the absolute best, sometimes. Makes breaksโ
@MidgarQueenBee โbar.
Running his hands through his locks, he walked up to the bar with a smirk already locked in on his lips. He could only hold that she wasnโt too busy with the other less important patrons.
@MidgarQueenBee Works being keeping extremely busy. With everything happening with terrorist groups and getting revenge, unfortunately he hadnโt been able to get much time off.
โฆThat is, until tonight. With Rude taking a break of his own, why wouldnโt he take this time to visit his favoriteโ
Taking the glass, he raises it her before downing it. Setting it back on her tray, he smiled.
โJust wanted to know if I needed to wait to buy you a drink or not. If youโre going on stage, I can wait. Better that way, anyway.โ
Thereโd be less guests vying for her attention.โ
He catches it, choosing to say nothing, he bows his head, moving to head past her. Though, he hesitates for a moment. Turning back to face her, he tilts his head.
โAre you the headliner tonight? For the show?โ
Something different flashes across Diana's eyes for a brief second, something...almost like pain.
As quick as it arrives, it's gone, with a roll of the eyes.
"Dates don't pay rent, Turk."
Gesturing over to his usual booth.
"Go ahead."
โWorks kept me far busier than Iโd like, but itโs been more fruitful lately.โ
With a coy grin, he shook his head.
โNah, no date. Havenโt had the time. Thought Iโd come by here, see how things would be. As packed as I thought.โ
Looking from her to the rest of the bar, heโ
Of course, his favourite worker is there. Sauntering past, clad in rose gold, a tight fitting dress and the materia heels once more.
She had a tray of glasses in her hand, the other on her waist as she raised an eyebrow at him.
"You're back? It's been a while. No date?"
