3. Going back to the first point, humanity as we know it has been around for about 300,000 years. The average lifespan gets lower and lower the further you go back.

1. You are right that ancient Grecians did live for a while. Ancient Greece, in the grand scheme of things, is still recent in human history.
2. Ancient Greece is just one section of the world. Take the average of lifespans in 1100 BC (1/?)
