An Afghan national resettled in the Vale of Glamorgan has been convicted of a sexual offence.
The individual, who was staying in the area under a UK Government relocation plan, was later removed from the Afghan Resettlement Programme following the conviction.
The case has raised serious questions about transparency and public safety, with Conservative Senedd member Andrew RT Davies criticising the lack of communication from government authorities. Mr Davies said: "It's disgraceful that the Government failed to provide this information for so long.
"After authorities chose to use the Holiday Inn Express in Rhoose for temporary accommodation, I asked them to confirm if any individuals relocated under various Afghan resettlement schemes were convicted of sex offences. "But they failed to answer the request repeatedly"
Now it has confirmed an Afghan resettled in the Vale of Glamorgan was convicted of a sex crime, the Government has serious questions to answer.
"There are public safety implications that must be addressed."
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) confirmed the conviction in a recent Freedom of Information response. In total, the MoD recorded 10 cases where individuals resettled under either the Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP) or the Afghan Response Route (ARR) committed criminal offences. Three of those cases involved sexual offences, including the conviction in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Another month, another piece of Britain was sold.

This time the company's called Intertek. You have likely never heard of it. It was founded in London in 1885 by a marine surveyor named Caleb Brett, to serve the business of telling merchants the truth - whether the cargo was sound, whether the goods were what the seller swore they were. Impartial assurance, they called it. It grew into one of the great unsung champions of this country: a FTSE 100 firm, 45,000 people, a thousand laboratories in more than a hundred countries, whose entire trade is vouching for whether a thing is safe and real.

That is the firm that has just been taken off the London market for £9.3 billion by a Swedish private equity house fronting money from the sovereign wealth funds of Abu Dhabi. The biggest buyout of a British company since they carried off Boots in 2007.

And here's the sting.

Intertek is a healthy, world-beating company. It is being sold anyway, because Britain itself has become the cheap thing on the shelf - the marked-down asset the rest of the world is loading into its trolley while the price is low. Foreign bids for British companies have passed £170 billion this year, a record, the fastest sale of a nation's own family silver in living memory. Ten separate times in a single year, ministers have had to "call in" a foreign bid for one of our defence firms - the one kind of company on earth you cannot afford to have owned abroad - and they treat each one as a surprise, a nightwatchman shining his torch about while the removal vans are already loaded and running.

Sit with the irony of this particular sale, and savour its neatness. A firm Britain built to certify that things are sound, sold off precisely because the market has decided Britain itself is not, is no longer.

All of this is the direct result of a state that has made this country a dear place to keep a company and a bargain place to buy one. The costliest energy, a tax system that bills you for breathing, a stock market bled of confidence by people who have never once been made to answer for bleeding it. The London Exchange, where the world once came to raise its money, is being wound down into a car-boot sale, one champion at a time.

So the next time a minister stands up and calls this "inward investment", hear the words properly. It is the sound a nation makes when it has run out of things to do except sell itself. The going-out-of-business sign is already up in the window. The only thing left to settle is whether we are the generation that takes it down, or the one that stands about and watches the last of it go.

Taxpayer Cash Used To Fund Private Schools In Africa As Labour Hits UK Private Schools With VAT Raid

British taxpayers money has been used to fund private schools in Africa through a government owned development finance quango at the same time as Labour imposed VAT on private school fees in the UK.

In December twenty twenty four British International Investment contributed to an eighteen million pound investment in Enko Education a for profit school network to support its large scale acquisition strategy across Africa.

The funding was used to expand fee paying schools in countries including Ivory Coast and Mozambique while some UK private schools have been forced to close or struggle due to the new tax.

Shadow Education Secretary Laura Trott said it beggars belief that taxpayers money was being spent on private schools abroad while UK schools face closure.

The investment forms part of over one billion pounds provided to the agency in the last two years.

Critics have questioned why British taxpayers are funding private education overseas while domestic independent schools are being hit with higher taxes.

A very dark and sad day in the EU and Europe and once Burnham gets in we could soon follow suit! The EU Parliament today passed the Chat Control 1.0 legislation….despite LOSING the vote. Over 310 votes against it. Only 276 voted for it but due to crazy “overall majority” rules and a cunningly arranged vote the day before parliament recesses so many MEP’s were not present it has still gone through. It marks the start of the end of privacy.

Although 1.0 is supposedly voluntary, 2.0 will not be. ALL messages will be screened and scanned on the device side. The days of you flirting with your missus, sending crude jokes or banter to your mates or discussing important trade secrets with a business colleague on what you thought were private messaging apps…are going going gone.

And what happens in the EU will inevitably happen here with this madly pro eu, pro ever closer relations government and incoming PM. Kiss goodbye to privacy!!

Reform UK’s mayoral hopeful says she stands by controversial comments suggesting that Green voters, ‘uniparty’ MPs and councillors should house “illegal criminals, rapists and economic chancers”.(Good for her)
Sian Astley said those who advocate for open borders are “opening up this country” to “criminals, economic chancers, rapists.” And she said those who attack her for a “tongue in cheek” comment are “getting angry about the wrong thing”.
Speaking exclusively to the Manchester Evening News, the Reform mayoral candidate said she stands by the comments. “If you are an advocate for open borders then you are opening up this country to exactly that - criminals, economic chancers, rapists,” she said.

Whenever the rise and growth of Islam in the west and in the U.K. is discussed it’s often smeared as scaremongering or a conspiracy theory, and if you dare to suggest major western nations will become Muslim you get labelled a nutjob, racist or fascist…or all three.

My answer would be, just look at History. Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, Algeria, Libya were ALL either Christian or had very large Christian populations before Islam even existed. Then they were conquered and the Christian populations either driven out or subjugated. It’s a fact, look it up. For around 500 yrs two thirds of Spain was conquered and made Muslim before the Spanish rose up and drove them out. The weapon of choice is no longer the sword, it is demographics, birth rate and mass immigration but the takeover agenda is still very much on the table. It’s happened time and time again historically so how arrogant do we need to be to insist it “can’t happen here”. It can and it will unless we stop it.

Why aren't THESE anti-migrant protests “Far Right”?

Zulu warriors are protesting on the streets of South Africa. Not because Zulu isn't shown on TV at Christmas anymore. No, these Zulus are angry about mass immigration into their country.

They've taken to the streets with shields and spears, smashed up migrant-owned businesses, and attacked migrant residences.

What's interesting is how these riots are written up by the BBC compared with our homegrown ones. The BBC is very respectful of the South African rioters, mentioning "isolated incidents of looting" and casually mentioning the 60 deaths in a previous riot.

Whereas the Southport rioters were condemned as evil racist far-right thugs, and today's migrant hotel protesters are "extremists" with "pure anger and hatred".

I mean, if Africans don't like Africans migrating into their country, maybe we could cut British anti-migrant protesters some slack?

The sexual assault trial of the former Labour councillor, originally scheduled for 29th June, has been delayed by over a year after neither party was ready to proceed at Inner London Magistrates Court.

Mohammed was charged in July 2025 with sexual assault, exposure and controlling and coercive behaviour. He denies all charges.
He was suspended from the Labour group following his arrest and sat as an independent councillor for the remainder of the term.

Lauren the Insider claims she's uncovered documents proving Starmer deliberately hid information about mass migration , knowing it would cause major problems in Britain .
She says the government uses DSMA ( Defence and Security Media Advisory )notices to supress details in migrant crime stories like ethnicity and location to prevent riots and unrest .
While DSMA notices are real they're voluntary and usually defence related and no documents have been made public yet .
