@glunkinator I have thoughts on "none", but I'm more confused by why the "bare minimum" includes He/They (and similar mixed options). People with those pronouns are typically fine with either - so on the programming end it would probably just use one? The game wouldn't alternate pronouns.
@KirbyCheatFurby Because we didn't have an Electric/Dark type til gen 8 and getting new type combos is exciting. Would've helped it stand out even more compared to other electric types.
@Llghtnlng_Blade@RulerOfPaper5@Comsox1 Why does Lucario exist when Lycanroc Day exists?
Again, it's not about "no starters should be humanoid", it's about "all three starters have been basically man with profession since gen 6". Mix it up. Give us more variety. Make some humanoid and some pure animal!
@worst_egirl We have a number of snail/slug pokemon: Fire/Rock, Grass/Dark, Water, Water/Rock if you count Omastar as a mollusk, Dragon/Steel. The only Snail that's been a bug type is Shelmet, which is "The Snail Pokemon" but kind of has the least form factor. Snails aren't usually bug type.
@RulerOfPaper5@Comsox1@Llghtnlng_Blade They're not starter pokemon.
It's not about no humanoid/pokemon with that design at all, heck, not even about not having that for any starter - it's about all 3 starters since gen 6 pretty much being "man/woman with profession" designs.
@ButchHades@heavenstonight It's also known as Reversi, or at least similar to reversi. Board game where you have circular tiles with one white side and one black side, flip over your opponent's tiles, try to control most of the board at the end.
@MrBeast While I have mixed feelings on the twist itself (If no one volunteered and we saw, say, Cirie go out due to rocks+a coin flip that would SUCK), glad this wasn't like the Zac Brown ep and that the focus was on the competitors. That part was at least good.
