Hey @HLC_actual been digging into my dad's service record since he passed. Looks like he was actually a Fire Panel Operator for the NIKE Ajax missiles out of Pittsburgh in the mid 1950s.
He barely ever talked about it. Far as I know he's not in this Pic.
@philthatremains Sprite.
Look, here in Texas the broad term for "soda" or "pop" is "coke." But the exchange usually goes like this: "hey man, you want a coke?" "Yeah, what you got?" "Uh, Sprite, Dr Pepper, Coca Cola."
That being said, my Ukrainian baba always called them "soda waters."
Well, one was written and acted by people who cared about the character, made it funny, heartwarming, irreverent, and openly queer without making it about a message. The other I didn't watch.
Help me understand:
Deadpool is openly gay and constantly flirts with men - yet he's still a massive fan favorite with a combined box office of $2.91 billion worldwide.
But Supergirl just told potential viewers that yes, Kara might also be bi...
...AND SHE FLOPPED at $116.1 million worldwide.
So what’s the difference?
Why did one character become a massive success - while the other FAILED MISERABLY?
I don't know who needs to hear this…but if I'm ever murdered at one of these events and someone claiming to be my friend proceeds to try and destroy everything I love based on vibes, ghostly visits and innuendo...please side with my wife…not the person claiming to be my friend.
I'm glad SCOTUS has ruled that anyone can come here,give birth to a child, leave raise that child in pure unadulterated Comunnism, and that kid can come back and be President. And his illegal parents can go ahead and vote for him now via mail!
