@agoda falsely advertised a room for $774 which I PAID. The replacement now costs $1577 for which they only want to pay $200. This was not my error and should NOT be at my expense. I booked in advance for a reason. Agoda messed up. Take accountability.
@BeeNixon8183 On top of the lack of assistance from agoda I keep getting dms and non-official “Customer service pages” like this reaching out to me. This makes it incredibly difficult to discern the fake accounts from those actual trying to help. It’s appalling.
@agoda has completely ruined my holiday. They falsely advertised a hotel room in Italy, which I booked AND paid for a week ago, only to be told 8 DAYS LATER that the hotel has no rooms available.
They don’t want to find me an alternative place, refund within 30 days.HOMELESS4NYE
Agoda’s disregard for finding me a suitable solution is appalling especially given that this entire issue was their fault. False advertising is a breach of conduct under the Consumer Protection Act. No accountability, no employees have reached out, no one seems to care.
@agoda It’s been over 24 hrs, beyond this response and a generic auto-reply in my dms I have NOT been helped at all. The level of customer service and care is pathetic. I am still without a place to stay, their suggested location places me in a non-safe area and is of poorer standards.
Just had a horrific experience with an incompetent call centre agent at Discovery Bank. She could not answer the questions, can’t transfer calls and refused to discuss the matter with her team leader. Time to move my portfolio if this is the way they treat clients!
