NEWS: Tonight, Wyoming became the first state to outlaw the use of abortion pills, as Governor Mark Gordon just allowed the measure to pass into law.
Under the new law, medication abortion providers could be sentenced to six months in prison. These laws are part of a conservative push across America to make abortion medication illegal, even in states where it is still legal.
Another more sweeping law passed as well, and takes effect on Sunday, which bans abortion under almost all circumstances and treats it as a felony to all providers.
REMINDER: The 2022 midterms were a referendum on where the majority of Americans stand, which is still in favor of women's bodily autonomy. Republicans will need another reminder in 2024.
